Farmland Partners (FPI) came out with quarterly funds from operations (FFO) of $0.19 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.18 per share. This compares to FFO of $0.16 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an FFO surprise of 5.56%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this real estate investment trust specializing in farmland would post a loss of $0.05 per share when it actually produced a loss of $0.09, delivering a surprise of -80%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus FFO estimates just once.

Farmland Partners, which belongs to the Zacks REIT and Equity Trust – Other industry, posted revenues of $20.05 million for the quarter ended December 2021, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 3.35%.
