If you’re on a couple’s trip, visit the top of the Areopagus hill with a drink or some food to watch this magnificent view.

The National Theatre has been putting on Greek tragedies for over 100 years and has recently begun showing more modern productions. These include English supertitles so don’t be worried about a language barrier.
There is so much to see and do in this city, this just touches the surface. The atmosphere of Athens is one of the most important parts of visiting, you will feel the electric energy and ancient touch as you roam around.
