Visiting an ice cave

A popular one to visit is located in Vatnajökull National Park, called the Skaftafell ice cave, and with beautiful surroundings, it is worth spending some time in the area as well to explore.

Hike on a volcano

Icleand seems to have it all, and that includes a volcano! One of Iceland’s biggest volcanos is Crack Katla, standing at over 1500 meters tall.

It is also an area home to some incredible nature spots including Arnarfjordur bay, the island of Fatley and Drangakokull glacier.
