During a recent business trip to Asia I had the occasion to travel to Tokyo, Japan, almost 10 years after my first visit there. No doubt I booked the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo – I love this brand so much – where luxury and comfort meet in the heart of Japan’s bustling capital city. So I had the pleasure of staying there for a few nights, and I can say with certainty that it is one of the best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.
From the stunning views of Tokyo’s skyline and Mount Fuji to the impeccable service provided by the staff, the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo is truly a one-of-a-kind destination.

The hotel is also conveniently located near several train stations, making it easy to explore the city’s many neighborhoods. Nihonbashi is a lively district filled with shopping and dining options, making it the perfect place to stay for travelers who want to experience the best of Tokyo.
From the moment I arrived there, I was struck by the hotel’s impeccable service. The staff members were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome and at home.
The hotel’s concierge service was particularly helpful, offering suggestions for local activities and restaurants. The hotel’s housekeeping staff also did an excellent job of keeping my room clean and tidy throughout my stay.
The Mandarin Oriental Tokyo is filled with luxurious amenities that will make any traveler feel pampered. The hotel’s spa is particularly impressive, offering a wide range of treatments and services and amazing views over Mount Fuji. I indulged in a traditional Japanese massage, which was both relaxing and invigorating.
The hotel’s fitness center is also top-notch, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and stunning views of the city. The indoor pool is another highlight, offering a serene and tranquil environment for swimming and lounging.
One of the most impressive aspects of the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo is the stunning views it offers of Tokyo’s skyline. The hotel is located on the upper floors of a skyscraper, offering panoramic views of the city below.
I was lucky enough to have a room with a view, and I spent hours gazing out at the twinkling lights of Tokyo’s skyline. The hotel’s restaurant and bar areas also offer stunning views of the city, making it the perfect place to enjoy a drink or meal while taking in the scenery.
Speaking of dining, the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo is home to some of the best restaurants in the city. I had the pleasure of dining at several of the hotel’s restaurants, including the Michelin-starred Tapas Molecular Bar. The food was inventive and delicious, and the presentation was beautiful.
The hotel’s other restaurants, including the French-inspired Signature and the Japanese-inspired Sense, were also excellent. Whether you’re in the mood for a romantic dinner or a casual meal, the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo has something to offer.
